About this room
Take the whole of Cragmhor to yourselves. The principal accommodation is an elegant super-king family suite with an en-suite bathroom, a private sitting room and an adjoining bedroom — generously proportioned and flexible for families or friends travelling together.
Tucked beneath the eaves, the loft suite has a comfortable bed and a beautifully refurbished private shower room, a peaceful and secluded retreat. On the ground floor, a welcoming double bedroom with a private walk-in shower room is well suited to guests with limited mobility.
At the heart of the house is a generously equipped country kitchen, and the downstairs living room has a 42-inch Smart TV with Netflix, Prime Video and Apple TV. Central heating and superfast fibre Wi-Fi run throughout, extending into the garden. Outside, the decking and rockery look out over the glen — and there is private parking for up to three cars.

Whichever room you book, you're welcome in the kitchen, the dining room and the living room with its log-burning stove, and out in the private garden. The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with starter essentials — milk, tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper — so you can eat when it suits you. Fibre Wi-Fi reaches the whole house and garden, and parking is free on site.

We had an absolutely wonderful couple of days here. Shammi was incredibly helpful and responsive - he was there to show us around, and gave us some helpful local tips. We were only four, but the property could have taken more. The house was lovely and very unique, with amazing art throughout and a beautifully peaceful garden with stunning views of the surrounding hills. The area itself was quiet and restorative. I would highly recommend anyone considering visiting the area to stay here.

Had a wonderful stay here, in a beautiful location and Shammi was very friendly- recommending a lovely restaurant just a short drive away. The garden was gorgeous with a nice outdoor seating area. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the only down side was that I only stayed for one night! If you are looking for a peaceful get away in a beautiful location- I definitely recommend!

The house is super cosy, comfortable and feels like a real home lived in and not as a self-catering, the location is five minutes walk from the lake and ten minutes to Balquhidder church and perfect for hiking, cycling, swimming and long nature walks. It’s very close to Loch Lomond. The host came personally to hand over the keys and showed us around the house. We had everything we needed, loved the artwork, the views from the kitchen and the fireplace, it added so much joy to our stay. Highly recommended 😊

Beautiful and relaxing accommodation surrounded by the Scottish countryside and nature, Shammi was super helpful and very kind, I liked a lot spend time talking to him about many different topics, it was really nice and inspirational! I loved the patio and being able to sit in the middle of the green hills. I would absolutely recommend staying at Shammi’s flat!! Unfortunately my family and I, only stayed for one night but it would be really great to go back!
